Hearts is a reverse trick taking card game where the player's goal is to score as few points as possible. In the game of Hearts, each card with the suit of Hearts is worth 1 point. The Queen of Spades is worth 13 points (the total value of all the hearts combined). The player who starts the game is the one holding the 2 of clubs. No one can throw a heart the Queen of Spades in the first trick. All players must follow suit if they have in their hand a card of the suit that lead. If the player does not have that suit, they can play any card they like. This is usually when Hearts and the Queen of Spades gets played.
